Paradisio Imaginarium is a creative studio dedicated to the creation of high-end illustrations, luxurious wallpapers and inspirational homewares designed and manufactured in France and other European countries. Each print looks like a painting, designed to draw you in and invite you to travel to faraway places and imaginary lands.

This illustration is a reproduction of one of the most beautiful French wallpapers made in 1861 by the Manufacture Desfossé, part of the historical treasures preserved by the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris.

These illustrations, which are part of France’s heritage in the domain of the Decorative Arts, required hundreds of hours of work to be restored to their erstwhile splendour. Our meticulous work has enabled us to add our own sensitivity to these magnificent art pieces, through the addition of new nuances and colours.

Such an apt name for this remarkable print of a paradisiacal jungle, whose romanticized representation of nature, with its shades and hues in blues and greens and cascades of flowers is an echo of the idyllic vision of an age whose collective imagination was fuelled by its many botanical discoveries.
